Durban City Fc coach, Gavin Hunt has expressed his excited for the upcoming match against Kaizer Chiefs at the Moses Mabhida stadium this coming Friday.
Hunt’s remarks come after the Durban City side held a media briefing today at the Jonsson Workwear in Springfield, Durban.
Speaking to the media the coach said the match of this magnitude is good for the players and team.
“For a club that has been promoted to be in this situation and have a chance to play a game of this magnitude early in the season is good and hopefully we can come with a positive result. We are all looking forward to the game,” Hunt said.
As the club has accumulated 15 points in 10 games and currently occupies the 5th spot, the coach said its going to be tough going forward.
“Standards have been set and obviously we need to maintain those type of standards and try and improve, and try to finish the season well. I know we’re not halfway yet, but games of this magnitude certainly get the everybody up for it,” he added.
The coach also called on the supporters to come in numbers and rally behind the team as the club is growing day by day.
