The defending champions, Njampela FC have been dumped out of the Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup at the hands of AmaZulu FC at the Prince Mangosuthu Regional Stadium, in uLundi.
Njampela were the first side to draw first blood but AmaZulu reacted quickly with two goals as the match went to halftime with uSuthu leading.
In the second half, Njampela piled pressure on AmaZulu and were eventually awarded a penalty which they missed.
AmaZulu held on and eventually won the match by 2-1 with goals from Elmo Kambindu and Tebogo Mashigo. A solitary strike from Njampela was scored by Sbongiseni Mdluli
The second semi-final will feature Richards Bay FC against the eSwatini side, Nsingizini Hotspurs FC at 12h00 pm.
