Not keen on watching the Springboks from your couch? Gather your friends, bring the family or head out on your own to soak up the atmosphere with fellow rugby fans.

The Springboks take on Scotland in Pretoria on Saturday, and several venues around Durban will be screening the match live.

Here are some of the fan parks worth checking out:

    Westown Square, Shongweni

Westown Square is a great option for families, groups of friends and solo supporters. The venue offers a lively match-day atmosphere, a variety of food and drink options, and a dedicated kids’ play area, making it an ideal outing for all ages. With a central fan park area and the surrounding restaurants also have screens from which fans can watch the rugby. The square also had a kiddies play area.

Tiger’s Milk, Pavilion Shopping Centre, Westville

If you’re looking for a more social setting, Tiger’s Milk at Pavilion Shopping Centre will be showing the match on its big screens. The restaurant is a popular spot during major sporting events, so booking a table in advance is recommended.

    Northwood Crusaders, Durban North

Northwood Crusaders is hosting a fan park with giant screens for live match viewing, entertainment, food stalls and a dedicated kiddies’ zone. Tickets start at R50 for under-18s and go up to R300 for adults, making it a great option for supporters looking to enjoy the game in a festive atmosphere.
